Technology:
The development of a new patented charge based on a mixture from silicon oil and wax increases the attainable expansion. By applying current charges, values up to 0.22 mm/K can be obtained, however by using latest charge mixtures, values of 0.35 mm/K can even be attained. The other technical parameters can be compared with those that can be achieved with charges applied nowadays.

EGELHOF innovation:
By applying the patented charge mixture from silicon oil and wax, the volume of the bellow can be reduced by 33 % provided that the current expansion of 0.22 mm/K is maintained.
Reduction of Diameter:
The possible volume reduction results in that the diameter is reduced in smaller bellows allowing for more flexibility when designing radiators or thermostatic heads.

Reduction of Installation Height:
In case that volume is reduced due to a reduced installation height, sensor’s distance from radiator can be increased or a more compact thermostatic head can be used.
